Craft Site Link Exchange "Basic Requirements"

Basic Requirements:

Craft Site Link Exchange is a link exchange program which allows members to link with other Craft related, relevant, web sites in one quick method! As members become available they are added to our "LinkList.html" file which will be mailed monthly to all members. When you receive the update you are "Required" to update your "Links" page or create a new link to the "LinkList.html" file. Instructions on different linking methods will be made available to new members as they Join.

There is no difficult script to upload so you do not need to install any special script or software onto your server. However, you must have a "Links" page within 1 or 2 clicks away from your home page. And you must have access to any method which allows you to update your "Links" page each month with the updated Crafts Sites "LinkList.html" file that you will receive each month.

There is no particular order that you will be listed, this is not important for building "Link Popularity" or improving your "PageRank".

Please read the "Faq" page if you have any further questions before you commit to our program.

If at any time you wish to have your site removed from our Link List, simply contact us with your request. This is a brand new program, and we would appreciate your feedback on how we might improve our resource.

From Time-to-Time we may send you information helpful to improving your SEO or other helpful information via e-mail, however your email shall not be or sold or shared with other companies.

When entering your site information, please follow these guidelines:

Please, before you hit that "Join" button, verify your information is correct and check the Terms and Conditions checkbox.
Please, allow up to one to three months for your site to be listed across our members pages.
Once again, if our "Links" from our "LinksList.html" file are not found on your Reciprocal Links you submitted, your site will be removed from the program.
Note, you may change/update your information at anytime but please allow one to three months before the new information replicates through-out our members pages.

2.4 The Craft Site Link Exchange shall ensure that contributions can be made to its web sites only by registered Members with their specific password, in accordance with clause 3 below.

3. Your use of the web site

3.1 You agree that before any active use of the web site, including but not limited to any posting of messages or content upon the web site in any discussion or message forum, you shall have first registered as a Member with your own personal password. In order to register as a Member you shall have selected a User ID which shall be different and entirely unrecognizable from your own name, and which cannot be traced to your real name by any type of search or otherwise. For the avoidance of doubt, any User ID cannot include either the first or the surname of the User. Additionally, you agree that you shall only ever use your own personal User ID and will not under any circumstances log in under someone else's User ID in order to post messages or place information and/or material on the web site. You also warrant and represent that all information which you are required to give upon the filing of your own registration shall be true and accurate in all respects.

3.2 You hereby agree, warrant and represent that you will not, when using the web site service:

a. use obscene or offensive language;

b. place material on the web site which is or may be defamatory, in breach of copyright or confidence, abusive, discriminatory, inflammatory, or hateful;

c. place material on the web site which may encourage criminal conduct or which may give rise to civil liability, or which otherwise is unlawful;

d. place material on the web site that does not belong to you without the prior written consent of the owner;

e. place any advertisement or make any other commercial solicitations;

f. name third parties by name in any postings which deal with potentially sensitive topics, nor mention any dates and times. Such postings should be general rather than specific.

3.3 You also hereby agree that by using the web site service you warrant and represent that all details submitted by you are accurate and not misleading, and that will not use the web site service in any way that would be contrary to US law nor the law of the Member's residence nor the law of any country where the web site service is used. Should The Craft Site Link Exchange become aware of any activity that would be contrary to this clause or clause 3.2 above, then The Craft Site Link Exchange reserves the right to exclude the member with immediate effect and, where necessary, to forward any incriminating material in its possession to the US police or other relevant authorities. You also accept that The Craft Site Link Exchange may keep a record of your IP and/or host address for reference purposes only (in order to keep a track on the amount of visitors per day). In the event of any breach of these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, The Craft Site Link Exchange may view and add your IP and/or host address to an 'excluded database' to prevent you gaining further access to the web site service. These addresses are not distributed or given out to any third party services.
